🧭 Guide families
No one should start alone
Families further along the path walk alongside those just starting. Sometimes hearing “that happened to us too” helps more than any guide.
How it works
Families further along the path walk alongside those who are just starting. It costs nothing and nobody sells anything: it’s family to family.

You talk
A call, a coffee or messages. At your own pace. Hearing “that happened to us too” helps a lot.
We’re starting in Nuevo León. If you live in another state, write to us anyway: that’s how we know where to open the next group. The groups and guide families talk mostly in Spanish.
We’d like someone to walk with us
We’re just starting: we were just told, we’re waiting for a diagnosis or we don’t know where to go next.
Ask for supportI want to be a guide family
We’ve already walked part of the path and want to support a family that’s just starting in our state.
I want to helpWhat a guide family does
- Listens without judging.
- Shares what they went through: what helped and what didn’t.
- Points you to the guide, the directory and public support.
- Stands by you in the hard parts: an appointment, paperwork, a bad day.
A guide family does not diagnose, prescribe medication or replace professionals.
Group agreements
- Respect for all families and all the ways of living with autism.
- Nothing is sold here: no therapies, no products, no courses.
- No recommending medications or doses. That’s for their doctor.
- Privacy: we don’t share photos, names or stories of other families outside the group.
- What happens in the group stays in the group.
